I know I’m not the only one who has been swept up in The Great Gatsby sensation. With an admiration for embellishment, I am in the process of polishing my pearls and shining my diamonds, for a more is more tribute to the Jazz Era. Here I present my own selection of decadent pieces resembling the glittering Gatsby era.

After all, Daisy Buchanan was nothing if not magnificent, and would delight in the company of such decadent jewels as these…

Peaches and Cream

For those of you who have followed me blog to blog, would know that my nail trends are not usually so neutral. However, I am finding the more I explore the Shellac range, the more I am loving a simple flat colour- especially since the shades are so beautiful. I particularly love this Peaches and Cream pastel colour and upon first glance, I was instantly reminded of nude patent leather (my other seasonal lusting) with the extreme shine gloss finish. I encourage your thoughts, do you love it or loathe it? Hate it or rate it?

And finally fashionistas… I pose, what is your ultimate go-to nail colour?

Smoke on the winter…

With a trip to Sydney booked, I am starting to collect my favourite winter pieces to grace the fashion focused city. I’m not sure whether I’m more excited for the shopping, or a chance to wear this perfect smokey shaded Marcs Italian Melton Coat. For all you fashionista’s who experience a chilly winter season, I am truly jealous! Living in the sunshine state equates to non-existant winters. We may be blessed with beautiful summers but our winters are not exactly suitable for trench coat wear.

Feeling a little nostalgic as I upload the remainder photos from my nautical shoot with N.East Photography and Blossom Headpieces & Accessories. I am still lusting like crazy for the black on black ensemble and Raspberry and Cream Crown.
