St Frock Frenchie Jumper, Factorie Boyfriend Jean, Seed Heritage Wide Brim Hat, Lovisa Star Necklace (similar style here), Jo Mercer Tanessa Heel (similar style here).

For the last 8 years, I have not owned a pair of jeans. True story. Not only do I find denim to be rather uncomfortable, but as genetics dictates I am never lucky enough to find a flattering cut on my petite, short-legged physic. Now I have been totally won over by these Factorie Boyfriend Jeans, the relaxed fit and distressed fabric makes it super fun to style, especially with this cute St Frock Frenchie knit.

This outfit is very situational of the Brisbane weather at the moment and I have to report is practical and rain friendly- minus the stilettos of course. Warm, comfy and saving my hair from the rain, what more could a girl ask for?

Erin Smith Photography has returned to TBS blog after her incredible Japanese/Korean adventure and I couldn’t be more thrilled to have her back! I was so excited to get snap happy with my girls Erin and Ghassani again and with giggles, macaroon obsessing and a present from Korea (Erin you are a doll!), I left the Valley excited for the fashion adventures to come for the A team.

St Frock Outfielder Dress, Jo Mercer Erika Platform, Seed Heritage Wide Brim Hat, Tiffany & Co. Circle Pendant, Tiffany & Co. Mini Heart Tag Earrings, Tiffany & Co. I Love You Ring, Sportsgirl Studded Clutch (similar style here), Thomas Sabo Key Pendant (similar style here), Thomas Sabo Charm Bracelet.

Graffiti feature walls and offbeat alleyways; have I stepped into the streets of Melbourne? Although I think we’d all agree this little monochromatic St Frock number would be ideal for the Melbourne minimalist scene.

I often find the transition between seasons a challenge to style, especially in Brisbane, as the temperature is rather unpredictable in nature. This simple shift dress just might be the answer to my wardrobe woes. With its stripy print and leatherette sleeves, St Frock’s Outfielder Dress offers an edgy, statement piece without being OTT. For those cooler days, this piece provides the perfect foundation to a wintery look, as its lightweight fabric allows for layering. Maintaining its simplicity, I have made the dress the focal point within this look, teaming with a black brimmed hat, chunky platforms, a studded clutch and a garnish of silver, seen in the jewellery.

Roaming abandoned alleyways and finding beauty in obscurity is something Yolanda from BNEstyle and I do best! Her creative streak and fun loving spirit make a simple photography session a fashion adventure. From pulling spontaneous faces to creating Leo memes (inside joke, now on insta @theblondesilhouette), this duo is ready to capture a fashion forward Autumn- an ode to coolness, with no signs of duckface and passé posing.

Summer Wrap-up.

As a final tribute to a fabulous summer, I present a wrap-up of my favourite looks from the season just been. Which one is your favourite? While this outfit rehash reminds me of the staples I have loved and lived in, it also is a visual reminder of how my style constantly evolves. Changes aside, one thing that remains constant is my love of prints and colour blocking. What will Autumn/Winter bring to The Blonde Silhouette blog?- well you’ll just have to wait and see!

Thank you’s and kisses go to the talented photographers, boutiques and brands that I have had the pleasure of working with.
