Review Wish Upon A Star Dress, Olga Berg Lana Two Tone Headband, Les Georgettes Bracelet, Molten Store Enigmatic Ways Earrings, Sachi Heels (similar style here).

With Melbourne Cup just a mere week away, I’m putting together the final sparkle for my Fashion On The Field #OOTD (otherwise, my Melbourne Cup outfit). Fittingly, sparkle is what I’m channelling this year, having found the most delightfully astral frock from new season Review.

The most eye catching detail of this dress is the starry tulle overlay that contrasts against the midnight navy hue of the frock. Highlighting an ethereal aura, this stellar number reminds me of french romanticism, combining spirituality, nature and colour in the most magical ways. With flourishes of detail, I’m particularly drawn to the sweetheart neckline, further complimented by an elegant sheer overlay. I also love the silhouette created by the ruching of the fabric seen at the waist.

Having deliberated on the choice between fascinator or hat, I instead opted for a satin headband, the trending headwear of the moment. Equipped with a handmade lace fan, fresh from my travels to Venice, I am ready for warm temperatures trackside, all the while remaining sophisticated and stylish.

Ladies, if you are still on the lookout for the perfect Melbourne Cup outfit, then why not sneak a peek at Review’s newest arrivals. I’de love to see some #ReviewGirls at the races. Des bisous!

Marcs Emerald City Lace Dress, Marilyn Van den Berg Headpiece, Sachi Heels (similar style here), Swarovski Earrings (similar style here), Oroton Clutch (similar style here).

The most anticipated racing event is back, and just like last year’s OOTD, I’m favouring bold colours. Ever since I laid eyes on this elegant, emerald number by Marcs, I just knew I’de found the perfect Melbourne Cup outfit! There’s nothing I don’t love about this sophisticated piece, from the exquisite lace detailing, to the frilled sleeve detail, this frock is born to worn in the birdcage, with a glass of Moet in hand.

As for accessories, I’m channelling an opulent statement as I style my gold sequinned, Marilyn Van den Berg fascinator, with a matching glomesh clutch – otherwise an Oroton classic. Ensuring my pedicure is nothing short of perfect, I’m stepping into a pair of open toe, strappy heels by Sachi; a pair I managed to score in a Myer midseason sale.

Beauty wise, I’m letting my outfit do the talking, applying a soft palette of blush pinks to the cheeks and lips and teaming with slick, straight hair.

Review Dress (similar style here), Marilyn Van den Berg The Red Queen Crown, Sachi Shoes (similar style here).

It’s impossible not to feel those queen vibes while wearing such a rich and opulent colour as this seductive wine shade. Branching out from their signature floral and feminine fabrics, Review are serving up a statement with this bold, geometric lace dress. Unsurprisingly this little piece sold like hotcakes and is no longer available to purchase (tear!) however there are some absolute gems amongst the new arrivals!

Cooper St Dress, Marilyn Van den Berg Golden Rose Crown, Pandora Luminous Droplet Ring, Pandora Elegant Beauty Earring Studs, Sachi Heels (available at Myer).

A delicate, free flowing maxi dress is a must-have for breezing through gardens on a hot summer’s day. This Cooper St frock is an absolute dream to wear, with it’s lightweight fabric and floaty silhouette. Not to mention it is perfect for a garden party with the girls, or a fancy affair like the ladies races.

I’m adding a regal touch to my look with this ornate crown by Marilyn Van den Berg, which is further complimented by golden accessories. It’s a statement look to say the least, but when you’re born to stand out, you’ve gotta pull out the aces.
