Looking Chic 5 Days A Week

Whether you’re flittering through a casual office, or looking to build upon your capsule wardrobe, I’ve rounded up an edit of chic, classic staples, to keep you looking stylish 5 days a week.

alt="Looking Chic"

Mondays call for a little sass to start the week! I’m throwing out retro vibes with this Wizard Of Oz inspired gingham number from Seed Heritage. No Ruby Red Slippers to be seen, but I do recommend a comfy pair of sandals and a country chic boater.

Shop Look 1: Seed Heritage Frill Sleeve Shift Dress, Lack Of Color The Spencer Boater, Wittner Cody Sandals.

Takes strides on a Tuesday with an edgy playsuit like this monochrome Witchery addition. With a bold, geometric print, you’ll want to team back the accessories, opting for quality not quantity. A luxe time piece has never been so necessary!

Shop Look 2: Witchery Printed Playsuit, Larsson & Jennings Lugano Watch, Jeffrey Campbell Despina Sandals.

Flirty mid week meetings are made more exciting with feminine frocks, like this Country Road dress. Neutral accessories and block heels help to complete this ladylike look.

Shop Look 3: Country Road Off Shoulder Dress, Sancia Daydream Clutch, Schutz Sandals (similar style here).

Fierce Thursdays should be mandatory, so pull out your animal print and let your inner goddess rule! Style with a crisp pair of white jeans and finish with a bold accessory like a fedora, or a summer vest.

Shop Look 4: Country Road Jean, Witchery Leopard Top, Lack Of Color The Zulu Fedora, Wittner Zionn Espadrille.

Finish off the working week with a playful number! Did someone say polka dots and Prada? Perfection!

Shop Look 5:  Witchery High Neck Spot Dress, Prada Round Sunglasses, Wittner Aralyn Heel.

Faithfull Retro Stripes Naumi Dress, Wittner Aralyn Heels, Karen Walker Super Duper Strength Sunglasses, Pandora Dazzling Dainty Droplets Necklace, Pandora Floating Locket Necklace, Pandora Dazzling Droplets Hanging Earrings, Pandora Vintage Fascination Ring, Pandora Dazzling Droplet Ring.

Stripes? Check! Lightweight material? Check! Relaxed fits perfect for the weekend? Check! The off the shoulder dress is your key summer staple and I’m turning to Faithfull to deliver the goods.

What I love about this little number, is the retro vibe it speaks, further complimented by a neutral colour palette. It lends itself to many stylistic opportunities; espadrilles and straw boaters, loafers and aviators, but for me, I’m all about accessorising this piece with some block heels, layered jewellery and a delicious smoothie.

But the best part about this little frock? It’s now on sale! Enjoy cuties x

Marcs x Maricor/Maricar Cosmic Confetti Print Mini Skirt, Marcs x Maricor/Maricar All The Good Things Badge Cropped Tee, Wittner Otto Heels, Pandora Pink Radiant Heart Ring.

Feeling particularly sassy preparing for a weekend of brunch, lunch and gossiping with the girls, shopping for Secret Santas and preparing holiday treats! I’m totally in the swing of silly season, although I do it rather stylishly, in my new Marcs x Maricor/Maricar getup.

I call this particular ensemble my flirty weekend wear, after all a t-shirt adorned with super cute ice cream and donut badges becomes just that! For a crop top, this piece is quite modest, teamed perfectly with this matching mini skirt. Look familiar? You may remember this from my most recent #ootd, where this piece was styled in a preppy, semi corporate look, proving just how versatile this skirt really is.

Popcherry Forest For Last Maxi Dress, Wittner Otto Heels, Basque Wide Brim Hat, MICHAEL Michael Kors Medium Jet Set Cross Body Bag.

It’s no secret that I love a styling challenge, especially when it involves transforming a cheaper basic into a stylish must-have. This Popcherry maxi is a classic example, with a romantic floral pattern and a lot of fabric to play with, this piece has some serious styling versatility.

My first stylish tip is to add a thick, statement belt to cinch the waist. Not only does this create a more flattering shape, but it also allows you to experiment with the shape of the dress. As there is a lot of fabric to play with, I recommend pairing this piece with a pair of heels. I’ve chosen a little ombre block heel by Wittner, to keep this look chic and yet still casual for a weekend stoll with the beau.

Of course the real game changer in this ensemble, is the stylish addition of a sophisticated, wide brimmed hat, guaranteed to elevate your outfit from basic, to luxe statement. Teaming this Basque summer necessity with my ensemble, creates a more mature edge, not to mention it’s sun smart, which is highly important for those outdoor summer romps and romances.
