Cue Princess Of Wales Check Dress, Wittner Tomas Pump Heels, St Frock Cape, Mon Purse iPhone Case, Pandora Dazzling Droplet Ring, Pandora Radiant Hearts Ring, Skagen Watch.

Where Upper East Side queen meets 90’s school girl cool, I’m channelling my favourite on-screen style icons with this plaid princess getup. While I don’t have Cher’s high-tech wardrobe organiser, or Blair Waldorf’s couture closet, I’m styling a chic, check print as part of Cue’s new season drop.

One similarity Cher and Blair share, is a penchant for accessorising. I’m teaming my plaid frock with a structured cape for extra preppy style. Of course no outfit is complete without a killer pair of pumps, and these suede points are the perfect choice.

In true Blair Waldorf style, I’m adding a little monogram to my outfit, by means of new leathery goods from Mon Purse. A final touch of sparkle is seen with some new Pandora gems; golden and and encrusted with jewels.

Now, stop eyeing off my #ootd and join me on the Met steps for FroYo and a take down.

Witchery A Line Denim Skirt, CHRLDR Tres Bien Breton Stripes Tee (similar style here), Wittner Energi Loafer, Lack Of Color The Spencer Boater, Thomas Sabo Key Pendant (similar style here), Thomas Sabo Charm Bracelet.

If there’s one stylish detail that I cannot resist, it’s a bold print. Floral, animal, aztec or abstract, I’ve found nothing creates a more striking look than a bold print. As it so happens, I’m particularly partial to breton stripes, as I love how this pattern is synonymous with chic Parisian style.

I’m teaming my new jersey tee casually with a denim skirt – totally practical for the warm spring weather in Brisbane. A pair of sequinned espadrilles and a boater straw hat are the perfect accessories for my little Parisian getup, and a stroll in the sunshine. Au Revoir!

Wearing White At Night

Up until only recently I had always thought of white as more of a day colour, due to it’s light and fresh aesthetic. With the exception of the time I purchased clogs, this has to be one of my most foolish, fashion faux pas. Get up to date with a blanc dress code, and see why you need a LWD (little white dress) as part of your evening wardrobe.

Honey & Beau Isabella Fitted Dress, Wittner Alice Heel, Mimco Clutch (similar style here), Bowerhaus Pearl Bracelet.

Whether you’re attending Diner en Blanc, or an intimate date with the bae, there’s no denying that a simple white frock looks incredibly striking against a starry sky. What I love about wearing white, is the endless versatility of styling such a neutral colour with options like monochrome, tonal, pastel or chrome.

As for me, I’m going for glam, by teaming this fitted Honey & Beau Isabella Dress with a pair of two-toned, open toe stilettos, a sequin encrusted clutch and a combination of gold and pearl jewellery.

While being a little more high maintenance than darker hues, I recommend in keeping to clear liquids like Cristal, and being very careful with your dinner etiquette. After all, earing your food on a crisp white canvas is never ok!

Cooper St On My Own Long Sleeve Dress, Mimco Clutch, Wittner Otto Heels, Michael Kors Blair Pave Watch (similar style here).

I love an LBD as much as just about anyone, but my heart beats for shades of pink! Particularly pastel if we’re getting technical – but really any pink hue will do! So when I stumbled across this gorgeous wall, in my favourite suburb (New Farm) – I just knew that things were about to get a little…girly!

If there’s something else I love, it’s to get frocked up – I do it often and I do it well! That involves finding the perfect little number, and right now this Cooper St On My Own Long Sleeve Dress has me completely smitten! I’m not sure whether it’s the abstract, pastel print set against the dark background, or the tiered, ruffle sleeves, or perhaps both, but either way I’m having a special little moment while wearing it!

I’m teaming this dress with some luxe accessories, a sparkly little Mimco clutch that found it’s way to me this Christmas, and my favourite Michael Kors watch. Keeping my jewellery  at a minimum, I’m letting this dress speak for itself, as it’s far too fabulous to play second fiddle against OTT accessories.

I’de love to hear what’s on your love list? Leave me a little note in the comments below!
